ABOUT Tania
Tania Roa (she/her) is an environmental justice and wildlife advocate. Through her work, she highlights connections between animal, human, and planet health.
She grew up near Los Angeles, California, unceded land of the Tongva people. Her parents, Claudia and Henry, immigrated to California from Bogotá, Colombia. She graduated from Tufts University with a Master of Science in Animals and Public Policy.
Tania has over twenty published articles on climate justice and a TEDxtalk, "How to Protect People and the Planet." She loves to snorkel, hike, and travel.
