ABOUT Hannah
Hannah Cocks is an ocean PhD researcher affiliated with the Universities of Stirling and Edinburgh, as well as Historic England, who explores the intricate connections between ocean and culture. As Head of Creative at SeaVoice, Hannah channels her passion for blue spaces and science communication by harnessing the power of storytelling to share diverse ocean narratives with broad audiences, promoting ocean conservation.
Hannah is also a Research Assistant with the Cultural Heritage Framework Programme, an initiative endorsed by the UN Ocean Decade, working to advocate for the importance of marine cultural heritage in realising a sustainable ocean. A Marine Environmental Management MSc graduate at the University of Exeter.
Hannah is driven by a profound belief in the importance of ocean connectivity for everyone. She is committed to spreading a love for the ocean and fostering opportunities for all to engage with and appreciate its wonders.
