Giovanni Prete

Giovanni Prete is a journalist and artist. He is currently the Director of Communications for Bow Seat: Creative Action for Conservation. Previously, he worked for the United Nations and related organizations, including UNEP in Montreal, Canada and UNESCO in Paris, France. In 2021, during the COVID-19 pandemic, he founded and led a volunteer team organizing beach and underwater cleanup missions in Corfu island, Greece. His three-year efforts received significant local media and public support. He currently represents his cause in major UN conferences around the world, advocating for the protection of the Mediterranean Sea.
