Washington State Could Lead the Nation on Building Electrification Codes

  • The Washington State Building Code Council is considering two code proposal which would require the installation of high-efficiency electric equipment for space and water heating in new commercial buildings.
  • By doing this, they could eliminate 8.1 million tons of CO2 by 2050.
  • Other benefits include: higher efficiency, it’s more economical and healthy.
