I’m a bright green environmentalist. I believe we already have the technology, tools and knowledge to fix many of the problems we face today; we just need to implement them. Here are the top sustainability apps.

Part of this philosophy is to use what’s at hand, and pretty much everyone in a high-consumption and over-urbanized area will have access to a smartphone. 

Instead of being enslaved to the makers of smartphones and the destructive apps that prey upon and monetize our attention, why not use this technology we already carry to do some good?
