Scientists Discover Six New Species of Rain Frog in Ecuador

  • Scientists in Ecuador have discovered six new species of rain frog.
  • The frogs were found on the eastern slopes of the Ecuadorean Andes in two national parks.
  • The scientists recommended that all the frogs be added to the International Union for Conservation of Nature’s red list of threatened species as they were found within a 20km-radius of deforested areas.
