Refillable Groceries to be Made Available to Every UK Shopper

  • Waitrose, Ocado, Morrisons , Marks & Spencer and the supply-chain company CHEP have joined a refillable grocery partnership which would allow people to purchased unpackaged options in store and let them fill containers with essentials during home deliveries.
  • The refill lines will include dry goods as well as household and personal care products.
  • “This is the first step towards the fundamental removal of large quantities of single-use plastic packaging from regular grocery shopping” said Catherine Conway, the founder of Unpackaged.
