PepsiCo, UT Austin, ISS, Healthcare Systems Pledge to Serve Planet-Saving “Cool Food”

  • PepsiCo, the University of Texas, ISS World Services A/S and the Providence and Mount Sinai Health System have announced their commitment to serving more climate-friendly food.
  • Their “Cool Food Pledge” aims to cut food-related greenhouse gas emissions by 25% by 2030.
  • “The groups signed on to Cool Food are showing that dining is where sustainability efforts come alive. It’s incredibly exciting because the potential impact is huge” said Edwina Hughes, Head of Cool Food at World Resources Institute.
