Old is New Again: Qatar Teens Give Worn Clothes a Second Life

  • A group of students in Qatar are transforming worn and damaged clothing into bags, face masks, and scrunchies.
  • The students create designs for bags and other items and give them to The Sewing Studio, a local tailoring business.
  • “Our goal was to create something that would start a conversation and contribute to a solution,” said Nandini Mathur, the head of design and product development at Project Upcycle.
