Milan to Build Cambio Network of Cycle Highways Linking 80 Per Cent of City

  • In an effort to make cycle the most convenient form of local transportation, Milan, Italy is committed to constructing 750 kilometres of bike paths by 2035.
  • This path will connect existing bicycle paths and supplement them with corridors that will connect the city with all 133 communes within the wider metropolitan area.
  • Once completed, 86% of Milan’s population and 80% of services will all be within one kilometre of a bike route.
