The group went into the meeting with high hopes. They emerged disappointed but armed with footage that enraged many in the online environmental community who believe the U.S. needs to remake its economy to tackle climate change. An edited video of the encounter in the foyer of the California Democrat’s San Francisco office went viral on Twitter over the weekend.
