Mars inks sweet deal for 100% renewable energy down under

This Global Company decided to become 100% green in Australia. It will buy renewable energy needed to power its operations for six factories and two sales offices. Mars is really on its way to achieve plans and eliminate greenhouse gasses from its operations by 2040.

It will source electricity from the Kiamal Solar Farm near Ouyen, Victoria once it is operational in mid-2019 under a 20-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with Total Eren.
