Love My Vegan Life – A celebration of compassion and care for our planet

My music career has been focused (since day one) on giving animals a voice, telling their stories and reminding the world that animals also feel – and that they suffer immensely in this human world. Through my songs, I also talk about the beauty of nature and our connection to it. My recent song “Amazon (stop the destruction)” speaks about the causes and effects of the destruction of the Amazon rainforest. In the end, it’s all about human greed… putting profit before the planet.

Vegan Queen V and I have created Love My Vegan Life to celebrate our love for animals and the planet. We are both vegan musicians and animal rights activists and we are both vocal about saving the animals and our planet.

Our music video Love My Vegan Life was recorded in England and Croatia. Vegan Queen V’s scenes were shot at the Freedom Fields Festival at The Farm Animal Sanctuary in Evesham, England. We were very lucky and honored to have documented her interaction with animals while shooting the music video. Animals are innocent and curious souls, which can be seen in the music video. Saved animals who live in animal sanctuaries are sometimes more cautious with humans because they were saved from (mostly evil) human hands, so it was very touching to see their trust and curious nature towards Vegan Queen V.

My part of the music video was shot on the sunny Hvar island in Croatia, where nature is still rather untouched, pure and beautiful. In contrast to that natural beauty and serenity, the other part of the video was shot in the city of Zagreb, at a location where human nature has destroyed a part of the city – the place I call “Zagreb Twin Towers” – destroyed remains of what was meant to be a large city hospital that was never finished. It is a sad reminder of what human destruction can look like.

We created Love My Vegan Life as a reminder that living with compassion can have a positive impact on the world. This is more than a song. It is a celebration of a way of life that honors Earth and all its inhabitants. Our music video brings this message to life by inspiring compassion for animals, love for the Earth, and the need to make choices that can provide a better future for us all. It is here to remind us how deeply interconnected we are with every living being and with the planet that sustains us.

Our song is a celebration of the vegan lifestyle. There is a connection between the choices we make on our plates and the health of our planet. The need for meat is destroying the planet. Factory farming is one of the leading causes of deforestation, water pollution and global warming. Choosing plant-based food is an easy and proven way to lower our environmental impact. With every meal, we have the power to choose a different future.

With my music, I remind others that animals are living beings with personalities, children, families, and the right to live free from harm. We share this planet with them. Deep within our hearts, we can feel that, but somewhere along the way in life, some people have not connected to that feeling yet. Animals share Earth with us, they are not commodities or our slaves. We have all been cleverly and systematically lied to and desensitized to ignore and accept violence around us. My music brings this to light and inspires people to have a better life and help animals have better lives.

An important part of the music video is the message of caring for our planet. The climate crisis, species extinction and habitat destruction are no longer distant threats. They are realities unfolding right now. Our song recognizes this urgency but channels it into empowerment rather than despair.

“It hurts so deep that trees are falling,
Animals are crying and Earth is calling.
Wake up, rise up, can’t wait
We are brave, we will find a way
Find a way, a way to a brighter day.”

Our song is an invitation to feel not only the urgency of the crisis (we all face) but also the beauty of what is still possible if we act together. Our song is not about guilt. It is about gratitude. Gratitude for the planet that gives us air, water, food and joy. Gratitude for the animals who enrich our lives by simply being themselves… innocent, trusting, gentle souls. By embracing compassion, we can heal the Earth, reduce suffering and create a world where love (rather than exploitation) defines our relationship with all living beings.

At a time when the world is facing huge environmental and ethical problems, Love My Vegan Life is our call for positivity, here to remind us that living compassionately is deeply rewarding. It shows that what we put on our plates ripples outwards, affecting animals, our planet, and future generations. And it encourages us all to realize that protecting animals and protecting the planet are not two separate struggles.

This is a celebration of love: love for animals, love for the Earth, and love for life itself. They remind us that compassion is not a burden, but a joy. And that by choosing to live in a way that honors all beings, we can create a brighter, greener and more loving world.

Vegan Queen V and I are inviting you to join in as active participants in creating positive change on our planet. The future is in our hands.
