  • The Turkish football club, Galatasaray, has found a way to cut its energy costs and make money from electricity by going green.
  • 10 404 solar panels were installed on the roof of the Ali Sami Yen Spor Kompleksi Stadium in Istanbul.
  • The solar energy produced provides up to 65 percent of the stadium’s electricity use.
