Georgia Power to Recycle Coal Ash from Plant Bowen

  • Georgia Power has announced its plan to recycle more than 9 million tons of coal ash at a pace of 600 000 tons per year.
  • The coal ash collected will be converted into concrete for constructing roads, bridges and buildings.
  • This project will reuuse materials and keep millions of tons of CO2 from going into the atmosphere.
