Gen Z in China and India More Environmentally Conscious: Report

  • According to a new survey conducted by the Credit Suisse Research Instiute, young people in China and India are more environmentally conscious than people in developed economies.
  • The survey found that Gen Z in these countries support government regulation of unsustainable products or for banning these products from the market entirely.
  • The researchers theorize that the reason for this trend is because these Gen Z people might be more exposed to the impacts of global warming which might mean that they are more engaged with finding solutions.
