Endangered Gecko Makes Dramatic Comeback

  • The small “Polaroid” gecko has returned on the Caribbean’s Union Island.
  • The population increased from 10 000 in 2018 to 18 000 today.
  • This increase results from the conservation efforts from Fauna & Flora International, Re:wild and local partners in the Caribbean.
