Sara Rego

Sara Rego is the founder and host of We Need to Act, a podcast focused on sustainability education, exploring topics such as climate change, biodiversity, social justice, Indigenous knowledge, and environmental ethics.

She holds a PhD in Sustainability Communication from the University of Minho (Portugal), where she is also a researcher at the Communication and Society Research Centre (CECS). Her work focuses on sustainability communication, greenwashing, activism, education for sustainability, and sustainable consumption.

As a speaker, trainer, and consultant, she supports organizations in addressing sustainability challenges through strategic communication and stakeholder engagement at national and international levels.
