Norm Leo

Norm Leo is a climate scientist, consultant, speaker, and author based in Montréal, Canada, whose work focuses on making climate solutions feel practical, hopeful, and accessible. He holds a bachelor’s degree in science education and a graduate degree in atmospheric science, and has delivered more than 700 presentations to audiences ranging from students and families to business leaders and policymakers.

Formerly the Head of Science Education at the Biosphère, Environment Museum, Norm Leo now helps organizations strengthen their climate communication through consulting, workshops, and strategic outreach. His approach centers on a simple idea: people engage more deeply when climate solutions improve their health, wealth, and everyday lives.

He also shares short, easy-to-understand climate videos on social media, helping thousands of viewers learn how solutions can make communities healthier and more resilient. His new book, Look at It This Way, continues this mission of flipping the climate narrative by reframing climate action as an opportunity to build a better future, one that feels empowering rather than overwhelming.
