Nels Christensen

Nels Christensen is a teacher and environmental writer. He works at Albion College and lives in Albion, MI, where he helps his sweetheart Jess Roberts run Albion’s Big Read, a community program seeking to change the world by changing young people’s relationship to reading. Nels is a self proclaimed Redneck Environmentalist whose writing seeks to convince the conservative hunting crowd that they actually are who they love to bash—environmentalists—while helping liberal gun skeptics see that hunters could be their greatest allies in the fight to protect and preserve planet earth.
