ABOUT Nazwa

Nazwa Salim, MBA, MEng, PBP®, LEED® Green Associate™, is a sustainability professional, educator, researcher, and climate advocate whose work bridges engineering, business leadership, and sustainable development. She holds a Master of Engineering Design (MEng) in Sustainable Community Infrastructure from McMaster University, Canada, an MBA in Human Resource Management, and professional credentials in sustainability and project business management.

Her work focuses on advancing practical, equitable, and climate-resilient solutions that support sustainable development, institutional transformation, and long-term societal resilience. Drawing on an interdisciplinary background spanning sustainable infrastructure, climate literacy, ESG, systems thinking, and clean energy transitions, she works at the intersection of policy, capacity building, and stakeholder engagement to help organizations and communities navigate complex sustainability challenges.

Nazwa is a strong advocate for climate literacy, responsible leadership, and inclusive sustainability transitions, with a particular interest in empowering communities across the Global South. Through her writing, mentoring, public engagement, and thought leadership, she promotes evidence-based approaches to climate action, sustainable development, and environmental stewardship.

She is the Founder of DSF Consultancy, an independent sustainability advisory and capacity-building platform dedicated to advancing climate literacy, ESG integration, sustainable development, and equitable transition pathways through research, education, advisory services, and cross-sector collaboration.
