ABOUT Morris
Morris Ngaruiya Mburu, known artistically as Halisi Monray, is a 25 year‑old Afrobeats singer, songwriter, and climate “artivist” from Kenya/Rwanda.
He began creating climate music seriously in 2020–2021, volunteering with CYNESA and advocating through song at international youth climate forums. His acclaimed single Green War, nominated at the International Climate awards ,the first afrobeat song to be nominated.
Through his artistry and activism, Halisi Monray bridges indigenous knowledge, environmental justice, and creative expression to inspire global climate action
