Lira Maranan

Lira is a regenerative development practitioner, researcher, and storyteller from the Philippines. She writes about ecology, cultural heritage, regenerative tourism, and community-led environmental solutions, highlighting how local knowledge and nature-based practices contribute to resilient and thriving communities. She was a contributing writer for North Star Magazine, where she explored stories on sustainability, culture, and regenerative development.

As co-founder of Pinsel Arts, Lira works at the intersection of traditional crafts, natural dyes, and regenerative design. She is currently developing a regenerative living space in her hometown of Baguio City, integrating ecological restoration, local livelihoods, arts, and community learning. Through her research and writing, she hopes to inspire a deeper connection between people, place, and the natural world while encouraging practical action toward a more regenerative future.
