Laura Porter

Laura Porter founded Byrd’s Filling Station to make it easier for people to combat plastic waste and pollution in our daily lives. After graduating with a Masters of Accountancy from the University of South Carolina, she built a 15-year career in corporate finance with some of the Bay Area’s iconic brands.

With a heavy emphasis in retail and financial operations, she knew that this background could pair with an interest in a zero-waste lifestyle to reimagine retail, marrying convenience and sustainability.

Laura lives in San Mateo with her two children, and enjoys travel, gardening, and hiking in her free time.
