Kevin Albin

Kevin Albin served 25 years in the UK police working on a tactical firearms unit and as a hostage negotiator. He retrained as a mountain guide working on developing leadership skills with young people, facilitating charity events in places such as Kilimanjaro and Machu Picchu, and conservation projects in Borneo, his favourite destination. In 2011, he won the Bronze in the World Guide Awards. Author of the Young Adult fiction novel, Stonechild, he writes articles for magazines and online platforms on guiding climate and mental health (he volunteers as a mental health first aider). He lives in France.
