Jacob Givens

As Director of Promotions and Marketing of Biofriendly Corporation, Jacob Givens lives by the SIX P’s of the company: public relations, product, podcasts, presence, production and planet. Givens joined Biofriendly Corporation on March 4th, 2019 and is responsible for the production of media used to promote Biofriendly and its product, Green Plus. Givens also helps co-manage the online magazine, Biofriendly Planet, maintains Biofriendly’s Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram with relevant content in environmental space and writes, edits and films The Biofriendly Podcast, airing weekly. In the past Givens has developed individual bottle design protypes, packaging concepts, and overall presentation materials for various pitches and presentations for Biofriendly. A big part of his job is The Biofriendly Podcast. For the podcast, Givens researches the topic, and is in charge of set-up and filming of the episode with co-hose Noel. Givens also edits the audio and video and promotes each episode through various social media platforms and podcast services. Givens was introduced to Biofriendly by Noel Carroll, his close friend and previous work colleague as they co-founded Good Cops Entertainment together. When Carroll introduced Givens to the promotion and marketing position at Biofriendly, he jumped at the opportunity to help him grow the green brand globally and inspire people to act now for the environment. Givens was born and raised in Tusla, Oklahoma and graduated from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign with a bachelor’s degree in the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences in 2001. He then worked for NBC-Universal in the Film Technology department and co-founded Good Cops Entertainment, working as the head writer of projects. Outside of Biofriendly Givens is a screenwriter, actor, and stand-up comedian. In his free time, he plays the guitar and writes music. He lives in Montrose, California with his wife of 19 years and their two sons Ewan and Elliot.
