Frederic Mauch

Frederic Mauch founded BioApply in 2006. The company aims at replacing single use plastics with biobased, compostable and traceable solutions. In 2022, BioApply launched TreeTote, an alternative to the cotton based tote bag. The TreeTote, 100% European wood fiber based, saves +1100 liters of water in comparison to the cotton tote bag. In less than a year, the total amount of water saved in replacement of cotton bags reached 38’500’000 liters, that’s 15 Olympic sized swimming pools
