- Christie Jones is a recent graduate of Emory University continuing her studies at the Rollins School of Public Health to earn her Master’s of Public Health. She has conducted research on the impact of development and land-use change on rabies transmission in Costa Rica, interested in the intersection between humans and our environment. With a concentration in Environmental Health, Christie has advocated for the elimination of herbicides through her work with Herbicide-Free Emory and Emory’s Office of Sustainability. She is passionate in advocating for sustainable change and just healthcare, which she hopes to bring into a future career as a medical doctor.
