Mark Ceresa, Division Vice President for Waste Connections, emphasized the financial advantages of implementing AI recycling technology, noting that AMP’s design offers “a competitive package for achieving our goals in the region.” The pay-per-ton contract structure provides operational flexibility as market demands and waste streams evolve.

Industry analysts project that the global market for AI in recycling will exceed $5 billion by 2030, driven by increasing environmental regulations and corporate sustainability commitments.
