• Researchers have found a healthy population of 200 chimpanzees in Côte d’Ivoire’s Comoé National Park.
  • Moreover, they have also found unique types of behaviours in these chimps that are not found in other populations in West Africa.
  • They found that during the dry season, these chimps chew the ends of sticks to make a brush and dip the brush end into tree cavities where water has accumulated.
