The company wants to become 100% green powered very soon. It will install solar panels sufficient to generate all its factories and other facilities all over the world. This is very encouraging especially when we take into account the size of this global giant.

It aims to generate green power for all its factories, office buildings and operational facilities in the US, Europe and China . The company is set to install around 42,000 square meters of solar panels at its headquarters in Suwon, South Korea as well as add the renewable source and geothermal power generation at its campuses in Pyeongtaek and Hwaseong. Won Kyong Kim, Executive Vice President and Head of Global Public Affairs at Samsung Electronics said: “Samsung Electronics is fulfilling its duty as a corporate citizen by expanding and supporting the use of renewable energy.”
